M. Alejandra Fajardo

I am a marketing communications designer and engagement specialist driven by a simple belief: the way we design and communicate shapes our communities' willingness to collaborate. With a Bachelor of Architectural Studies (Urbanism concentration) from Carleton University and over a decade of experience in graphic design, marketing communications, and facilitation, I translate mission-driven narratives into visually compelling, audience-informed creative work that drives engagement and supports fundraising, revenue, and community goals.

My work sits at the intersection of well-being, engagement, and marketing communications design. I have collaborated with interdisciplinary teams in architecture, urban planning, and community organizations to create event materials, community engagement materials, branded marketing communications, ads, and even social media campaigns that boosted visibility by over 73%. Additionally, I've facilitated inclusive workshops and gamified events that bring diverse voices into important conversations.

Fluent in English and Spanish, certified in IAP2 public participation, and proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud and Canva, I specialize in creating story-based materials that educate, inspire collaboration, and invite participation. Whether writing blog posts, designing graphics and short-form videos for Instagram and LinkedIn, managing website content, or supporting business development, I center equity, accessibility, and human connection in everything I do.

What excites me most is contributing to happier, healthier, and more inclusive communities. Efforts of thoughtful design and communication ripple outward. I am passionate about supporting organizations in amplifying their efforts and making life better for everyone.

Let’s connect and build something meaningful together.
